Gina's husband is about 8" tall and he's a rocket scientist or something. I'm glad that I now have this photo to look at anytime I feel intimidated by him.
Rick has been my friend since college. So far, his lovely wife Sandra seems to tolerate our high jinx, but that might be because we live in different states.
Here are my mom and dad. He's the guy who gave me this fez collection. I can't figure out why they're staring into space like that. They did that in every photo I took.
My ex-wife Sandie and her dad, Paul, are roughly the same height. That is to say, they're both shorter than me. It's the only thing I have on either of them, so I feel compelled to exploit it.
Leia does Sandie's hair. She also used to sit around and watch bad movies with me in the middle of the afternoon, but suddenly everyone got too busy. It's also worth noting that she was actually named after Princess Leia, of Star Wars fame.
Alex is the head of Studio 407, which I'm doing some work for. Rafael created Sonambulo, one of my favorite comic books. They met about thirty seconds before I took this photo, which makes them both excellent sports in my book.
Josh is a comic book writer. If you ever go to a party at his house, make a point of using the bathroom. You haven't whizzed until you've whizzed as Miles Davis' Kind of Blue softly plays in the background.
Erika is an artist. She plays bassoon in the Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra. She's a marine veteran. If that's not a renaissance woman, I don't know what is.
Sue-Anne and I teach Hands On Art together. She has a South African accent and a sense of decorum that it makes me feel that I should work on my own manners a little.
Mike is an enigma. I don't know anyone who's more appreciative of being written about, yet he refused to pose for this photo unless I put his little Don't Forget to Validate Your Parkingface over his real one.
